FINISH #6, "RAISE THE FLAG"

Here is finish #6 for the year. I showed you the quilt top back in April. It was one of the tops that had been in the sewing room closet. It is not a big quilt and was easy to get spray basted and machine quilted. Now I will have a new quilt to display for the summer. The pattern was from the Spring/Summer 2007 Sampler magazine. I did the smaller version of the quilt that pattern tester Laura Boehnke did. It is called "Raise the Flag". The pattern was by Good Wives Co. in Marion, Ohio. I enjoyed making this flag quilt.
I finished machine quilting another one yesterday. I sewed binding this morning but need to the hand stitching part. Hopefully, I will have another finished quilt to show you soon. Done is good.

Enjoy your sewing day and come back for a visit soon.

Karen

  2. You do such nice work. You've inspired me to go find my Quilt Sampler Magazine to see the original quilt. I don't remember it. But, if your quilt had been pictured, I would have remembered that.
