PART 3 OF THE GARDEN CLUB QUILT

Part three of the Garden Club quilt is finished. The dog block is not showing up very well in this photo. I usually take the pictures in the brighter morning but this was done this evening. At least the watering can block shows up well. I enjoyed making both blocks with the watering can block being my favorite of the two.
I appliqued another basket block today but will wait until I have more to share before posting that. And I am working on a Jan Patek pattern Christmas quilt that I will show some of soon.

Today was lunch and stitching with a couple friends. I had all I could carry when I went to the car and did not come back in for the camera. I am bad! We had a good visit and lunch was at a Mexican restaurant. I could eat Mexican food two or three times a week.

I received two Cheri patterns in the mail today. They are for making fabric covered paper mache boxes. I picked up a few supplies at Michael's Crafts but they did not have the correct size box. I will just play and see what I come up with. I would like to make a pin cushion on a box similar to what Kaaren. at the Painted Quilt did. Check it out. She is a pin cushion collector.

That's all for today. Come back soon.

You changed your header quilt - I like this one, too. It's very appropriate for this time of year.

If you keep posting the Garden Club blocks, I'm going to have to get my book out and quilt along with you. I really like your blocks.

Every time I come to your blog my mouth starts watering because I want to get back into quilting so bad. Still waiting for my room to be put back together, although now the kids are out of school (boo-hoo). Anyway, all your quilts are a true souce of inspiration.

I should show my quilt. I made that years ago with a great group of women. I just love it. We changed a few things but it's a wonderful quilt to make.

The next blocks look pretty darned yummy *s*
I saw that Cheri pattern with the boxes. I'm hoping I'll stumble onto a couple of paper mache boxes that I think are around here somewhere.
