I enjoyed paying visits to the participants of the sewing party. I had not visited a few of the blogs before today. Always good to meet someone new that likes quilting. I hope your projects are far along in the sewing process.Karen

From what I can tell that polka dot is perfect!
I love the small polka dot.
I like the big dots, but you know we probably will all have different opinions.....This redwork piece is just so cute....you did a great job!
I love both polka dots and your redwork is just wonderful !
looks great! glad your stitching again and progressing along.
I love the big polka dots, just is happy to me!

Have you thought about pieced border? I thought you have enough varieties of fabrics for pieced border. Just a thought - Enjoy Nat
Love it with the big polka dots!!
Take care.. rest your knee!! :o)
Your stitchery is really pretty, I'm in the big polka dot group:o)

What a nice stitchery, love the big dots! It just pops the picture to me. So happy you were able to do the day . Take care my friend. HUgs, Marie
Personally, I like the small dots... :o) Your stitchery is very pretty, I really like the variegated thread! Great job!
Another polka dot fan here, it looks so good with the stitchery.
I don't think you asked for opinions but I love the large polka dots!
I'm glad you are listening to your knee:)
I like the big dots.
I love that vintage fabric- how cute! But I think the big polka dots would be the best border choice. Great work! I hope your knee feels better :) Christine
From the photographs the vintage fabric makes your block soften and blend in. The large dot says oh happy day! The small dot makes the stitchery more prominent. It depends on what you want your stitchery to do or say. They all go well. I would probably choose one of the dots. Good luck deciding!
Oh you stitchery turned out cute! I think I'm with the big dot gals. ;-)
Big polka dots do it for me, Karen.
I vote for the large polkadots, it accents and brightens the stitchery.
The Valentine print takes the focus away from the stitchery and the smaller dot doesn't add anything to it, it's just dull.
Also, can I find out more about your stitchery please? I love it!
That is so pretty - I like the big polka dots! Lovely.
Your stitcheries are darling Karen!
I love your stitchery work and the big dot is pretty, I would like the little dot best, I think it would't take away form the redwork, but this is my opinion, it will be pretty both way, some time decision are hard to make. HAPPT STITCHING!
Love the redwork (but you know that, right?) I often use different shades of red but never considered using the variegated. I like the effect. I vote for the big dots!
Your redwork is precious. I can't wait to see what you decided on. Hope your knees are recovering.
Looks like I missed the party - but I sure do like your piece *s*
The red work is so cute. I agree either of the dots would work great for the border. Gotta love dots!

The big dot is more whimsical, but I lean to the conservative, the small dot. Hey, it's only fabric, and it's small. Step out of your comfort zone and try something different! Add a piping (flange) for something different! Very cute stitchery.
I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! I can't believe you got the whole thing stitched -- way to go Karen! It's so cute! Thanks so much for joining us at the party! We'll be having another one soon--hope you can make it!!
I vote for the big polka dot border. Your block is charming. Hope the knee is feeling better.
I can't wait to see it done!
So cute. I love the vintage fabric but I think the small dot looks the best. Just my opinion.
Your stitchery is wonderful and I also love the polka dots.

Its interesting to see the effect of the big dots verses little dots against the same stitched piece. I think they both look great, so you can lose in either choice you make. Such a cute piece!
Looking good Karen! Very sweet... 8-)
Karen, your stitchery is so cute. You did a great job on it. I love the large polka dots. Winona
Hi Karen, What a nice idea a "Valentine Sewing Party"...sorry I missed it. I really like the big polka dots and the stitchery is so cute! I design stitcheries so they are my favourite type of work.
