This is where I am at on the tote bag. I have to hand stitch the top band to the bag on the outside. Then I have to make the handles and sew them on. I made the wool pincushion just a bit ago. Had to do that with hand stitching. That will get sewn in with a handle. I hope to get this done yet this evening. I will post photos of the whole bag inside and out when I get it all done.

It's been a fun day. And I have only eaten three of the little Reese's Cups.

Oh my...how cool is that to have a wool pincushion sewn into the bag. It's a wonderful tote so far...and I do have to tell you that I could not have had just three Reese's if I allowed the bag near me! I've been trying to be so good. I walk past chocolate here on a regular basis. We have a big bowl leftover from Easter that my guys munch on.
Soooo cute Karen!!! I love the little pincushion! Can't wait to see it finished :)
Oh your tote bag is so cute, I love it , but you have way to much control when it comes to chocolate.
Your bag is coming along nicely. I love the prim look.
That is so sweet. I really love those fabrics.
That's pretty good that you only ate three of those Reese's. I couldn't have stopped at three;)
Your bag looks great! The applique & pincushion look so good with your fabrics. It really is gorgeous.

Your bag is so adorable. Love it! Cute idea with the pincushion. As far as the chocolate goes...me no likey Reese's peanut butter cups...but don't put me any NEAR Ferraro Rocer...I'd clean them all up!
Darling bag! And I love the little bird and the stripes and the rick-rack, etc. I really need to make a couple gifts like that. The little rounded bottom is a cute change also.
Now that's what I call a tote bag---it is going to be so pretty and very useful.Little Sister, Barbara.
