GRACE AND SEWING SEEDS

Fresh from the dryer are two finished projects.  Both are from patterns by Cheri Saffiote-Payne.  And by the way, Cheri has a new blog.  If you haven't found it already, pay her a visit here.  She also has a website with lots of prim style patterns to choose from.  You can see them here.

The first finish is "Sowing Seeds".  Could be used as a table runner but I am going to drape it over a cabinet door.  I like the shapes of the prim style flowers.  I am trying to expand my machine quilting designs to something besides diagonal line quilting.  I did clamshells on this piece.
The second finish is "Grace".  A very prim style gardening angel.

I was going to post this tomorrow since I already did a post today but I remembered that I have a lot to do then.

Back to my stitching.

Karen

Both are adorable. I am almost finished my "Grace". I did most of mine in wool so a lot of handwork.

I love both of these pieces! Your quilting looks great too. I'm also trying to expand my meager machine quilting abilities (it isn't easy, LOL) Thanks so much for sharing these finishes. Now, I'm going to hop over and see if I can locate the "Grace" pattern. Hugs...
