I have been stitching up a storm and have pictures to share with you.
I am way behind on the Snowbound blocks. This is the sixth one in the series but number four for me. I just grabbed one of the prepped blocks and stitched.
Another applique block from the Moda Designer Block of the Month. This one was designed by Jan Patek. I left off the applique triangles that were to go on the basket. I felt the block was busy enough as is.
The last three stitchery blocks were completed and added to the first nine. And a border added. I am waiting to get my Bernina back so that I can do some machine quilting on it. I have really been enjoying doing the embroidery on quilt blocks.
The last project to show you today is what will be a wall hanging size quilt. This was from a kit that I purchased at Deb's Cats & Quilts in Franklin, NC. while we were on vacation in August. It is a pattern that Deb designed.
I'm off to sit in my favorite chair for stitching. There are plenty of projects to pick from. Which one shall it be?
Karen

You really have been stitching up a storm! I like all of your projects, especially the embroidery quilt. You did such a great job.
Snowbound is just adorable. I love Bunny Hill and have Autumn Houses in my applique queue. Great work. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your day of stitching.
So much to love here!
First...love the background for the snowmen. I've been on the fence about starting it until now. That blue polka dot is perfect.
I like the Jan Patek block but I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the Moda Designer BOM. Is this something old or new?
Lastly, I'm loving your embroidered quilt top. It turned out wonderful. I look forward to seeing how you quilt it.
Whew - you have been busy, busy, busy! Once again I LOVE everything you've done! I swear I'm going to get on my bicycle and come visit you. I just want to watch you select projects and such! ;-)
Wow! You've been busy! Love the embroidery too, I really need to learn that. I think you are right about the mods block, it does look busy. I don't quite know what's going on there. Looks like you'll be busy when you get your bernina back!
Your projects are so gorgeous!
Wow! Wow! and more wow! You are such an inspiration. I am thinking I am going to have to try my hand at embroidery after seeing your beautiful quilt.♥♥ Haven't done any since "Home Ec" ):
Yes, you have been a busy bee! Beautiful!
Aren't sleeping much are ya?! You are my hero!! Loving every bit you shared here today but there is that on block of Jan Patek...oh my..it is a beauty!!
Wow! You have been busy! I love the snowman! I decided not to do that BOM this year, but now... hmmm.. I'm thinking I should've! Love the embroidered quilt too. Happy stitchin'!
Goooo Karen! You have been a busy girl! I still have "Snowbound" on my list of quilts to do. Someday! And I absolutely love the basket blocks :o)
Gorgeous stuff there, Karen.
No time for the grass to grow under your feet, huh?
Such a dilemma...what to stitch next? *wink*
You certainly have been busy and have some fun projects going.
Karen, Wow...you just take my breath away. (I think I told you that already) But it is true! Your projects are just wonderful. I spy a 'Snowbound' block in there! The blue polka dots are so great for background. I have been stitching them in redwork and today I'm using 3 of them in a table topper. I'm working at my sewing machine for the first time in 3 1/2 months and oh it feels sew good. I'm not fast but I do feel like I accomplish more now that I am making stitchery blocks too. To think if I hadn't had surgery and needed something to do I never would have discovered the joy of joining stitching with my quilting. Now, when my health keeps me away from the sewing machine, I can still work stitcheries and feel that sense of satisfaction. Speaking of...your stitchery quilt is just beautiful. I can't wait to see it quilted. Thanks so much for sharing. Now, I'm wondering what your working on to show us next...hmmmm! Hugs...
Karen you've got some cute stuff there - I especially like your embroidery. blessings, marlene

I didn't know there was a shop in Franklin, NC. Is it new? The quilt looks great!
I particularly like your snowman on the blue background - very cute:0)
What beurtful things I see on your blog. Your Snowbound snowman is really cute, too. I love the Jan Patek block, I made the Bom, too, but haven't finished quilting yet, unfortunately. The Christmasquilt with the stitcheries is gorgeous, so is the wallhanging!
