PITCHER OF BLOOMS WIP

A work in progress from a pattern called "Pitcher of Blooms".
The pattern is by Linda Brannock and is in the book "Miss Jump's Memories".  There are three borders to add.  One border is pieced.  I just wanted to share with you what I am working on.

Also, I thought I would give you a little peek of the quilt tops hanging in the UFO closet.  They are waiting for quilting.  I have two tops layered and ready to go that aren't hanging in there.  There are projects in progress in the bins that you see.
My SIL arrived yesterday and will be leaving tomorrow.  Our oldest and dearest friends will be arriving tomorrow afternoon for a week's stay.  I will get some sewing time but not a lot.  But we will be doing other fun things.

Have a good day and come back for another visit soon.

Karen

  5. I want to know about the holly quilt too! I am TRYING to get my UFOs out the door as they are made because my closet looked like yours (well, not as nice) and I realized I would never get to the quilting. Now I send them out as soon as I can afford it. I think this coming year I'm going to try my hand at appliqué. I think you recommended a good designer once. I need to pull up my emails. Your work is so beautiful I need to practice more so I'll stop drooling over yours so much. Lol!

  13. Your Pitcher of Blooms is lovely - you've picked gorgeous colours.I won't comment on how many quilt tops you have hanging waiting attention [:-)] but I do like your idea of hanging them like that. better than piles of bags around the place like at my house.

  28. Pitcher of Blooms is beautiful Karen! Love the background fabric. Now, that is some UFO closet, and I know longer feel bad about my little pile of unfinished projects. Are the quilt tops all for machine quilting or are some for hand quilting?
