I made two candle mats yesterday. Both were made from kits that were gifts to me.
The first is from a Primitive Gatherings pattern and is made from wool.
The second mat is made with wool felt and the pattern is from Bareroots #166 Folk Hearts & Stars.

I love both mats! Gorgeous! The bottom is so sweet. You could leave that one out all year! I have almost purchase the one from PG like every time I shop online there! Cute, cute, cute!!

Cute wool candle mats! And what nice gifts you received. This was the hardest comment to leave--1st I misspelled, then I couldn't copy the jumbled word correctly if my life depended on it. Perhaps I need to go back to bed! Now my password didn't work! Arghh!

They're both lovely. I don't know which I like more. Maybe the hearts and stars as that can be out all year? But then, that would make the Christmas lights one special every time you got it out.
