Hurray! The last basket block is done. This design was by American Jane.
Now to sew the pieces and parts together for a quilt top.
I made a small snowman table mat yesterday evening. A fairly quick project.
The pattern is a free one and is available here on Sew Unique Creations' blog. I used wool I had in my stash for the project.
Back to my stitching. Have a good day and stop back soon.

Oh, look at that! You made Tara's tablemat. It turned out so great!! I love it!!
Love your new block!!! It's very sweet.
The "Snow" mat is very cute. I printed the pattern. The mitten on the Buttermilk Basin blog today is adorable, as well.
Hi Karen, love all of your basket block's. Cant wait to see how the whole top put together look like.... :o)
You are so fast! I am amazed at all that you get done. I made this basket quilt when it first came out as a BOM and it seemed like it took forever. I also handquilted it but it looked gorgeous when it was done. I changed some of the blocks too, I put large rick rack in place of that weird yo-yo handle (it looked like popcorn on the pattern). I also replaced some of the plain rectangles of fabric with pieced blocks for the final finish.

Your candle mat came out great! Now that the basket applique is done, do you have time to help me finish my KD applique nightmare? Just kidding!
Basket block is gorgeous! I really love the applique! I saw that snowman mat yesterday. So cute! I might have to make it. Need to order the wool, though! I'll tell Primitive Gatherings to put it on my tab! LOL!
Love it!!!! You did an awesome job. Love your basket block too!
I really love that basket block, the fabrics and colors are beautiful. You did a wonderful job on the snow piece. I never got a chance to make any of them. I am working on the patek piece though.

Love the basket and can't wait to see the finished quilt. The little snowman mat is cute too. One nice thing about snowmen is that you can enjoy them all winter.
Gail :)
The basket block is stunning and the quilt is going to be fantastic. Cute little penny rug, you whipped that up fast.

Love the snowman penny, Karen and I can`t wait to see your quilt top when it`s pieced together.
I can`t wait to get back at it but it looks like it`s going to be a while yet as there's still a ton of boxes to unpack.
The Snow mat is so cute! I was tempted by that one but am making the snowman door hanger by Lynda.
Love your basket block too. The color is so pretty!
