Today is the Christmas Quilt-Along for March. I started stitching on my project on Friday evening because there is a lot of applique shapes to machine stitch around. This is what I am working on.
The pattern I am using is by Cheri and is called "Nativity Quilt". Here is a link to the pattern. You will find the pattern on page two of the pattern section. Take a peek and you can see what a finished quilt looks like. I still have a good bit of stitching to do around the applique shapes. And there are words to be embroidered. I have the words already marked on the background but I don't think you can see them. There is a pieced border that is sort of piano key style that needs to be made also.
I love Folk Art style quilts. I made twin Nativity quilts previously. You can see what one of those looks like here. That particular quilt was made from a Red Wagon pattern called "Manger".
Back later in the day to show you my progress. If you are participating in the Quilt-Along, I will be around to visit your blog and see what you are working on.

Both your header and the Nativity Quilt are stunning. They are both lovely scenes. You seem to have mastered applique. You make lovely quilts.
