"SKATING"

A new 16" by 20" finish.  I used a Sarah Sporer pattern in the book called "Snow Days".  This one is called "Skating".
This was a fused machine applique project.  I have wanted to make this one for quite a while.  I added some tiny buttons to the front of the girl's coat and like the look.

I made completed another applique block for Millennium Garden.  An easy one.

And a block for the Collector quilt that I haven't worked on for a little while.  A very prim style pineapple.
That's all for today.  I am trying to stay focused and it is hard.  So many wonderful projects that I want to work on.
Thanks for stopping by.
Karen

Your girl skating is really wonderful! She looks so sweet and happy to be outside. (Reminds me of my daughter who loves to skate) I have a terrible time with staying focused too :0)

I love that skater , too cute! I remember skating for hours and hours when I was a child
I have to look into that book, I think she might need to be hanging on my wall of little quilts to bring back the memories you did.

Very sweet little skater, and the added buttons are a nice touch.
Great applique blocks!
Focus? Did you say something about focus? Focus on what? What were we talking about? : )

Great work! I like the skating quilt. Your pineapple and Garden block is lovely too.
I am also having trouble to focus. There is just so much that is yelling for attention - new projects, old projects, house,...but I like quilting and reading best :)

I really like the skater. The buttons do add to it - makes it look more like a real coat. And you did good on the other blocks, too!
