MILLENNIUM GARDEN UPDATE

The "Millennium Garden" quilt top is done.  Hurray!  I like the colors and all seems to have come together well.
The house block is my favorite one in the quilt.

I had trouble sleeping last night.  One of the fire alarms needs a new battery.  It gave out three short blasts last night and woke me up.  Then I could not go back to sleep.  I finally went into the sewing room and prepped an applique block for another project.  Maybe I will stitch on it today.

Such a nice top, Karen. Great fabrics. You seem to have captured primitive and whimsical together with that fun floral in the mix. Oh, how I envy those who can applique!

Wow Karen it is stunning! I love it! I think the house block is my favorite too. I had trouble sleeping last night too, my son came in at 5am to say good morning and I was still awake - still laying there trying to get to sleep! Must be the time change or something, it always throws me off, argh.

Hi Karen, This Millennium Garden is just beautiful I really want to do this one. I love the colors in yours even more than the original. As much as I want to do this I'll have to wait a little while until I wrap up some things. Debbie from Delaware

Gorgeous and stunning, one of my most favorite quilts. I totally left off that bottom corner block, can't remember why and made the circle bigger.

What a treasure! I love the fabrics you chose. One of my favorite blocks is the crow sitting on the basket (or ceramic pot?) The border fabric really brings a beautiful mix of the colors.

looks so great - I like the colors and the print on the border ties it all together beautifully

OMG, that is absolutely stunning! Did you need a home for it? I just love it! I may just have to add that on my list of projects! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!

Your quilt turned out beautifully - I love seeing it in fabrics other than the line that coordinated with the pattern *s*

Of course I love the quilt - it's just gorgeous. Our smoke detectors give out a high beep when they need a new battery. My husband can't hear it. Not at all. Not one beep. It's the high notes he can't hear - the low notes are a bit better. Can you imagine how annoying it is when I hear the beeps and he doesn't? :) blessings, marlene
