The "13 Lucky Cats" flimsy is done. I should have placed the top left block on an inner section of the quilt. I decided on the orange black plaid border fabric after I had the first inner border on. The fabric I thought I would use for the border just didn't look right so I went to plan B. I may move that block yet but right now I am not in the unsew mood.
In case you did not read the previous post and are wondering about the cat pattern, it is in "Redwagon Originals" and is by Linda Brannock.
I am working on a wool on cotton table runner today. A fall look piece. So many projects and not enough time.

Lovely! The orange black plaid border fabric looks just perfect for this quilt. Ever since I've read about "Redwagon" books here and there on your blog, I bought two - One is 'Christmas or Not" and the other one is "Redwagon OriginalsRedwagon Originals". They are both filled with fun projects. Thanks for the inspirations :) BTW, I love your "Inspired by an Antique quilt" quilt, too!
Look at you go! This is such a great Halloween piece. You really do have to be in the mood to "unsew", don't you? Sometimes I just can't face it immediately after discovering the need. : )
It's beautiful.....I wouldn't change a thing!
That looks great! Really fantastic and the fabric and the colors are so well chosen! Greetings

Love it!
Just LOVE this quilt ! That border is just perfect !
Another awesome finish Karen! LOVE it!
Fun quilt!
Love the cats!!! Great looking quilt.
Beautiful!!
It took me a while to figure out WHY you should move that block! I'm a little slow, but I like it the way it is. What a fun quilt!
I like the cats!
I love the border...I didn't realize what you were considering 'unsewing'. I had to study a second look. I vote for leaving it.
I think the quilt is great, so fun to look at. I would probably change the block that matches the border because I would notice it every time I looked at the quilt. I have done a lot of unsewing in my past for the very same reason. It will be cute either way.
I love this!!
So cool! I love this one!
Oh, I love this quilt. Everything just fits together so well (even the top left block). Well done.
Gorgeous quilt!
love this quilt -
I just found that book in a resale bin. A must for my bucket list!
I agree, today may not be the day to do it but that top left block may have to move before it's quilted. I think you'll be happier in the long run.
Love that quilt too, Karen!!! My book is packed up and in storage till our new home is completed and we move in. A next year project for sure!!!!!
Thanks for sharing, so festive!

goodness! you are fast. I like the fabrics you used in the quilts.
Very cute! I like that bright look! I'd leave that piece in the corner...it adds interest!
Unbelievable on how quick you were with this one! Of course anything cats is another good one to me!
Sometimes, when I have a break at work, I scroll through pictures on Google Reader. I stopped and gazed at your fabulous orange and black kitties. I fell in love with them and wondered could I make one, so I read about it. Wow, really? It is one of my mother's patterns? BONUS! I probably have it around here somewhere. Your quilt is FABULOUS; thank you for showing me I really do need to make one of mom's patterns...One of these days (SOON). Karmen
