I haven't been around in Blogland as much as usual. My knee problems have kept me from spending as much time in the sewing room. Sometimes I can't sit at the computer as long as I normally would. But I am still plugging away on my projects. I also am in gift mode and can't show some things. Just a quick picture to show you that I am sewing and doing handwork.
I hope to have more to show you soon.

Wish you could get that knee to behave!
Your projects are wonderful, as always. That one on the bottom really caught my eye! : )
Bummer about your knee! Dang it! But must comment on the quilt .....too good my friend, that is just too darn good!
Lovely creations there Karen. Hope your knees are kinder to you at times...
I came back to ask what is the quilt on bottom called? Who's pattern? It's good...crows, house, sigh
Cute Karen! The last section I posted of the Porch quilt ended up being quite a lot. Do you need more time? Lizzy was "washed" out of her house because of the storm, Sandy, so I was considering adding another month to this installment anyway. Then with you being laid up and the holidays.......
I just love those crows---looks like you are a very busy girl despite your knee--sorry to hear that it is giving you trouble still....Julierose
I've been wondering how your appointment went when we haven't heard from you, sorry that knee is still hurting you.
With me it is the back, standing and ironing and sewing in my room can take it's toll. I try to get things done around the house before i start, then I can crash in a chair when I am done and work on hand sewing;) Love your new pieces.

Glad your creativity has not been slowed. Always fun to see your projects finished or not. And I like crows. Yours are great.
So sorry to hear about your knee -- I also have bad knees, which I think is pretty common. Your quilt projects are beautiful (as usual), and I always look forward to seeing your new creations.
Hope you feel better soon.

It's good that you can work through the pain but it still must be a bummer. Love the projects you're working on. I hope you take some photos to share with us of the Christmas gifts you're working on...after Christmas, of course.
Oh, Karen, I hope your knees get better soon. Looking forward to seeing the gifts post-Christmas.
Even in slow motion--- you're faster than Me!!! Hopefully it is keeping your mind on other things.... Hope the knees rallies soon.
