I have started working on a row quilt that has been in the planning stage for several months. The pattern I am using is by Geoff's Mom and here is a link to the pattern. I have the first house and snowman done. Well, the snowman needs eyes and buttons but I am thinking of using black snaps for those. Better to add those after quilting.
Lots of work left to be done but I wanted to share what I have done.
A beautiful and warm day here. Certainly not snowman weather. Enjoy your day. I am going to spend a good portion of mine stitching and pressing new fat quarters that have been washed and dried.

This is so very cute, Karen. I love snowmen and this one is charming. He would be very happy at my house where it is currently 10 degrees outside at 9:30 in the morning. But that is warm compared to what we were in January. Enjoy your balmy weather! : )
That will be a fun quilt to make, I need to get my brain going and decide what I want to work on for a larger project.

HOw darling,Karen. Your work is always so wonderful.
Very cute! I am working on this too. I have the last row and I can call it done. I think I will wait until after the quilting is done to add eyes too.
I am making this one too, it was a BOM from Homestead Hearth. I have to tell you, it's going to be cute, but one of the rows, the one with the racoon, took all day long and was a you know what to do, even with it being fusible. I have one more row to do and I will be glad when it is done!

Love your start. You definety have a great collection of prim fabrics. Why not have a snowman in Florida! It's a very cute pattern.
I L-O-V-E that design and know yours will be gorgeous!
Are you doing the applique by hand or machine?
oh I do love snowmen! that one is so cute and love the house too! I used the little black snaps on a snowman I made a couple weeks ago-they look real good, sometimes I think the little black buttons are scary or weird looking--but perhaps that's just me being weird and scary-haha!
We had a dusting of snow last night with more headed this way! Cute snowman, love the snap eye idea.
It is so cute. I love your snowman.
Greetings from Germany,
