QUILT INFO

I used an Electric Quilt applique design and modified it slightly to make this basket block.

FORGET ME NOT

A new wall hanging quilt top done.  I used a Cheri pattern called "Forget Me Not".  A few months ago, Cheri had a give-away on her blog of some of her fabric scraps.  I won a box full of them.  I used some of them in creating this small quilt top.  Cheri tea and coffee stains her fabrics before using them so they had a wonderful aged look to them.
Hard to see in the embroidered words "Forget Me Not" in the picture.  They are above the heart in the blue/grey block.  Easier to see in person.  An enjoyable piece to make.

  4. I love this quilt top–what do the crows represent? The results you can get by tea or coffee dyeing fabric are amazing–I did it to tone down an overly vivid log cabin block and was really (pleasantly) surprised by the effect.

  11. Very nice. Enjoy the colors. The tea/coffee just makes them that much more enjoyable; works with style of quilt top.
