Fall Into Winter

I was tired of not having any completed projects so I got busy and machine quilted three smaller size quilt tops.  I have two of them bound and ready to hang.

First the fall piece.  It is a Cheri Saffiote-Payne pattern from one of the Primitive Quilts and Projects Magazine.  It is called "Autumn Wools".  An easy one to stitch with wool on cotton applique and a touch of embroidery.

The second is a snowman from a free pattern by Kim Diehl. called "Hearthside Seasons Winter Mini Quilt".  Here is a link to the directions and here is a link to the templates.  I used wool for the nose and star shaped buttons on his tummy.
Thanks for stopping by for a short visit.

  6. I love both of those, on my to do list.
I started the angel piece, but the thick cotton put a hole in it, so I had to cover it up, lol.
