QUILT INFO

I used an Electric Quilt applique design and modified it slightly to make this basket block.

First Robin

I finished the third one of the Sarah Sporer monthly quilt designs.  This one is called "First Robin".  Most of us associate the first robin sighted as a sign that spring is about to arrive.  I imagine a lot of you are wishing you would see that first one right about now.  So much super cold weather in the northern parts of the USA.

I am working on a heart quilt today.  I want something new for February.  Or maybe two something news.

Bundle up and keep warm.

  4. Love your Robin! I remember our first year to live in the country 100s of Robins landed in our yard. Too many people live here now so just a few stop by to visit.

I was actually clapping telling them to enjoy all of our bugs.

  6. Well you are a sneak, wish I knew it was your birthday, but I will be sending you a package soon. Now that the cabinets are out of the way, I can get into my wool stash.

Love this piece, very sweet. I need to go through my next box of goodies for valentines and spring to see what i have and then see what I have in my books, love doing little pieces too.

  8. Please may your little bird be a sign of spring - we got 6 inches of snow during the night here in Michigan.

  14. Adorable! We actually see robins all year long. When we hear the meadowlarks sing, we know spring is close.
