Spring Flowers and Baskets

"Spring Flowers and Baskets" is a finished quilt top.  I went into the sewing room yesterday to cut more applique parts for the eagle quilt top but got side-tracked by the basket quilt that only needed borders.

My quilts on the design wall always look smaller on the bottom than the top in a photo.  I suppose it is the angle of the camera when I take the picture.  They are the same measurement though.  The pattern I used is by Vintage Quiltworks.  I think it was only sold through Temecula Quilt Co.  I no longer find this brand of patterns sold anywhere.

Today, I am again planning to create applique parts for the Kim Diehl eagle quilt.  Let's see if I get side-tracked again.

  1. This kind of distraction can be a welcome thing. A finished top is such a good feeling.
This is a delightful pattern. I especially like the block in the lower right corner, with the four little baskets. What an unexpected and fun touch! : )
