Flags of the American Revolution Part One

Today is the day a group of quilters shows part one of "Flags of the American Revolution".  The book we are using for the patterns is by Jan Patek.  Here is mine thus far.


Lori from Humble Quilts started the sew-along.  You can visit her blog to see the links to other bloggers making the same quilt.  Always interesting to see the fabric choices that are made.

Happy Labor Day!  Hard to believe August is gone already.

  1. oooh beautiful applique and I love that eagle..and stars--that star is the same as on my "Home is Where the Heart Is" from Jan Patek's --it is finally finished up --my very first appliqueing...hugs Julierose

    That eagle doesn't look like an easy applique project. Who am I kidding--no applique looks easy to me!
