Herbs

Not quilted yet but I did finish the "Herbs" piece.  Wool on cotton applique.  The pattern I used is by Cheri Payne and was in an issue of Primitive Quilts and Projects.  I had the background sewn and the words embroidered.  The wool pieces were cut out.  All it needed was to stitch the wool down.  I was able to do that a few days ago.  I will add a few buttons after the piece is quilted.

I am feeling better today but still coughing.  Just not as much.

Enjoy your day.
Karen

  4. Love the quilt, and anything by Cheri Payne. Her designs are always delightful and so primitive. I got that chest cold on Mother's Day and was still coughing up until last week. It was not nice. Glad you are feeling better. Taking things easy and getting lots of rest if you can seem to work.

  15. That is one I made too and love it, I added words for welcome and things since it is at the front door. I am glad you are feeling better, these flus have been bad this year, I have been taking D3 when I feel something coming on and it seems to do the trick.
