Some of This and Some of That

I am sharing photos of the latest blocks for quilt projects I am working on.  First up are two more "Elegant Garden" blocks.



And a picture of all five that I have stitched.


Blocks 11 and 12 for "Catherine's Garden".


And last are three embroidery blocks for a quilt where the blocks are different sizes.  The pattern I am using is by Kathy Schmitz called "Summer Reigns" and is in a Leisure Arts book called "Simple Pleasures In Redwork".




Kathy also sells the pattern as a digital download or individual paper pattern.  You can view what it looks like here.

  4. Busy seems to be an understatement!
    Both sets of applique blocks are beautiful. The color palette on that first set is really singing to me!
    Summer Reigns is a great looking prim stitchery. How large will the finished quilt be?
