Bunny Hill Snowman Quilt

I think most quilters that had intentions of making the first Bunny Hill free block of the month long ago finished their quilts.  Me....I just now have a completed top but it is not quilted.  I found a folder with patterns from another year of their free block of the month patterns and noted that somewhere along the way, I made two blocks.  Maybe someday I will be inspired to do the rest.  My only thought about this quilt is that it is not large enough.  I would rather it be big enough to cover up with.  As is, it would make a nice lap quilt.

More stitching to do.  I am heading back to the sewing room.

  2. It is very fun, even if it isn't as large as you would like.
And I love chains as connector blocks!

  3. You did a beautiful job with the finishing. I am lucky if I ever get a first block done.

  7. It is so cute! Mine is hanging in my living room for the winter. I love Bunny Hill patterns, especially the free ones. I have just pin basted the A Tisket A Tasket top so I can start quilting it. I also did the Henrietta one. Enjoy your stitching!

  11. Your Bunny Hill Snowman quilt turned out lovely. I love how you used the reds. It can remind you of how winters were back up north.

  12. Your quilt is wonderful and you are not alone! Instead of appliquéing the blocks, I embroidered them in pink and have done nothing with them since. You have encouraged me!

  14. Hi Karen. Your Snowman quilt is nice! I did the Henrietta Whiskers a few years back. This morning I was moving things around and found the Snowman pattern...............Humm think I will file it away as my 2016 projects are nipping at my heels. Waiting for your next Blog....

  15. I downloaded those snowmen patterns too. I have not made one yet. Maybe it is time to let go of those patterns if I have not made any of them at all. What I really liked about that particular pattern set was the blocks that linked all the snowmen. I like the diagonal lines made with those blocks.
