ABC Sampler Update

Two blocks done for the ABC Sampler pattern (pattern is by Cheri Payne).  The Santa block was fairly easy and definitely prim in style.

The pumpkin block is unique in that it represents three letters of the alphabet.  The N, O, and P.  "Nine Orange Pumpkins.  A busy looking block.  I had more oranges in stash than I remembered.  I have made many pumpkins out of my stash the last few years.

Take a few minutes to visit Lori's blog  "Humble Quilts" and see her blocks.  Click "here" and it will take you there.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

  12. Got to love this Santa. He is hilarious! At first I thought he looked a bit tipsy, with his pants/belt buckle falling down. But he actually looks more like Mr. Bill of Saturday Night Live fame dressed in a Santa suit! :). Check him out here

  16. Cute Santa, but I thing the nine orange pumpkins is my favourite block! Great orange collection. I sometimes find it difficult to find the right orange or yellow fabric.
