Shenandoah Botanical and a Cheri Basket

Three blocks left to stitch on the Shenandoah Botanical quilt.  Here is my latest completed block.

And the fourth basket block from Cheri Payne's sew-along.  The next basket and pattern parts will be coming out tomorrow.  You have to join her Facebook group to get the free patterns.  Each month we are receiving a basket design and a page of applique parts.  You play with the parts and decide what will fill your basket and how.  Fun to see how each person participating chooses to arrange some or all of the applique parts into her block.

Here is a photo of all four of my basket blocks.  They are not all trimmed to size yet.  Fun!

  24. Lovey to see your botanical quilt blocks. I do have the pattern lying here for months but still didn't start it yet. I think I find it a bit difficult to make flowers I don't recognize because I have never seen them ( living in the Netherlands). But who knows now I have seen yours....And I love this Idea of baskets and random parts. I'm going to have a look.
