SNOWMEN AND MILLENNIUM PROGRESS

January is a perfect time to make a snowman wall hanging.  I just finished a small one from a free Twigs design.  I used a combination of fused fabric and some embroidery to create these two snowmen.  The plaid border was made from scraps in the scrap bin.  The whole project was made from stash.

I completed another block from the "Millennium Garden" set of patterns.
There is still a lot of stitching left as you can see by the blank spaces in the next picture.
Time to get some stitching going for the day.  I am glad you stopped by.

What a cute pair of snowmen. I think if I was going to make a snowman quilt today here in Texas, I would have to give him an umbrella. Sweet, sweet rain in Texas.

your snowmen are so cute! and Your work in progress looks also very pretty. What kind of design wall are you using? is it flannel?? I'm thinking of making a design wall for my sewing room, don't like to lay off my blocks on the floor anymore -it's not good for my back....arh.

Lovely freebies! TFS Twig site. I never thought about turning the stitchery patterns into the wool project. How clever you are! And your M Garden is coming along really nice. What kind of appliqué method are you using for this? Fusible web with machine appliqué or needle turn? Very fascinate...
