TWO SMALL FINISHES

My version of Lori's "Pink Lemonade" is complete. I hand quilted this one to fit in with the "old look". I can't decide if the cheddar and pinks are too strong together but it was what I had in stash. I enjoyed the sew-along with all of you that have participated.

I also took time to finish a little top I made recently from Cheri Payne's "Sew Good" pattern.  Last that I showed it, I had forgotten to add the embroidered words.  I did that and then echo quilted by machine to finish the piece.
I think I could use this little quilt for Valentine's Day with the big heart on it.

I am working on another "Millenium Garden" block.  I need to change out the leaves to another green fabric.  I don't like what I used.  Back to stitching.

Gosh you are a busy bee! You put me to shame, I need to step it up. You did a wonderful job on your quilts. I actually like the cheddar yellow with the pink. It feels very vintage to me, a nice color combination. It just works for this quilt, at least for me!
Thanks for sharing and inspiring, again!

Your pink lemonade looks wonderful! I had thought I would hand quilt mine--I'm having second thoughts. It may never happen if I hold out for that.
I love the crow and heart wall-hanging. Definitely appropriate for the coming holiday!

I think your pink lemonade looks good. I was thinking my yellow was a bit strong for me, but I'm thinking I might tea dye it. At least yours is finished. I need to finish the quilting on mine.

You have a couple of darling finishes! Lori's little quilts always look so cozy that I really, really want big versions of them to sleep under. I really love the pink and yellow together - it really works for me. The big heart is just right for a prim valentine setting. Looking forward to your next MG block.

I love the little heart quilt! perfect for February.
I love the yellow and pink together, but am tempted to tea dye mine to tone it down a little. The colors (of mine) are what I like, and the colors are what I dont like. Does that make sense?! LOL

seeing your finish inspires me to get cracken on mine. i'm at the quilting stage but have decided to do that by hand so it will be a little slower.
your crow and heart quilt will be a perfect valentine piece. i really like the primitive playfulness of it.

Your two little quilt finished are equally impressive. I am in love with your choice of cheddar with the bright pink. I may have to make version 2 of my own and be inspired by your subtle change in the palette.

Both little quilts are fabulous! I think the pink and cheddar go well together. You did a great job with the echo quilting on the heart quilt. I never realized how hard that is to do until I tried it.
