ACROSS THE WIDE MISSOURI BLOCK 5

A big block and one I didn't find especially enjoyable to stitch.  Mainly because there is a base house underneath the logs.  I had to stitch the house in sections sewing the logs on before another base section went on.  There are two more blocks with log houses but not as big or as complicated as this one.

I am back working on the snowman row quilt.  I am close to finishing the last of the applique preparation.  Still a lot of stitching to do.

I am looking forward to quilt market pictures and seeing new things!

Always amazing appliqué! Me? I sorted puzzle pieces last night and am starting to figure it out. Lol

The log home has depth around the door - sounds like there was lots of 'building' to making it ;-) Results look great so your effort paid off.
Love the detail around it.

The results are great on this block, so you did a great job with it. Saw a few photos of QW while surfing the blogs this a.m.

Looks great but sure sounds like a fiddley job!!

I like how the cabin doesn't appear flat. It sounds challenging, but looks great.

I helped a friend put together one like this. It is a lot of work...but your definitely looks worth the effort. Good fabric choices. It's lovely!

I like the block, but it seems there should be an easier way to put it together!!

Your applique is wonderful! I check in almost every day to see what you're working on. I found something in my stash that you might like, if you haven't already made it. Please email me. Thanks!
