Thursday's Quilt

I know it isn't Thursday but "Thursday's Quilt" is the name Cheri Payne gave the pattern. I think Cheri has designed a small quilt pattern for each day of the week.   I abbreviated the borders part of the quilt because I wanted a smaller size piece.

Wool was used for the applique. Several Jo Morton prints were used in making this quilt.  No time for quilting it right now so you will see it again in the future.

Spend some time with your sewing machine today or doing handwork.  I know I will be.

Thursday is a wonderful little quilt, love the pieced pinwheels, they sparkle! Your wool applique adds the perfect colors to the center. Looking forward to seeing it again when it's quilted!

So delightful - all those little HSTs are time intensive, but sure are worth it on a project like this!

The color selections included in the HST pinwheels are perfect for the wool applique. A great combination.

Very cute. I spent the afternoon with a What Not's pattern and it's coming along quite nicely. Love the applique over the piecing, great piece.

Beautiful work, Karen. Love the blues, the cheddar/golds, and the rusty reds.
The HSTs look like lots of work, but the effect is wonderful!

Very nice Karen! No stitching yet but maybe in an hour or so...church this morning, driving the first leg of our fall trip with the camper, waiting for the tire to be changed on the camper :( and now relaxing for a few minutes. This internet is so slow though that I'm going to give up and just stitch! blessings, marlene
