The Quiltmaker Bride

I have completed block three which is "The Quiltmaker Bride".  A very full block which required quite a few hours of stitching.

I will also add the "Missing Groom" block which I showed in a previous post so you can see how they look together.

The block I am working on now is for the Shenandoah Botanical Quilt so that I won't be rushing in the middle of June to complete it.  I have the fourth block for the Civil War Bride quilt (as most people call it) prepped and ready to stitch.

Hi Karen, Love the applique bride blocks! Your work on them is wonderful. What book or pattern is the from or who designed this?

Looking good - I am almost through with my Strawberry Block - I am working "down" each row on the same pattern. I have 3 other blocks ready to be appliqued, just need to get those stupid strawberries sewn!

The bride is positively charming. She and the groom belong together. You must feel such a great sense of accomplishment when you finish a block as detailed as this one!
