Shenandoah Botanical Update Plus Beyond the Cherry Tree Blocks

A day late in posting my Shenandoah Botanical block for August.  I have had it done for a few months.  Just needed to take a picture.  Another tulip block and very similar to a previous one.

And blocks nine, ten, and eleven of Beyond the Cherry Tree.

I like cherry style blocks and this cherry wreath is one I like very much.

Love the stripe basket!

I am linking with the Show and Tell for the Shenandoah Botanical Sew Along.

They are all beautiful, but that first one takes my breath away! Those soft colors against that rich background really stand out, but in an understated way. Does that make any sense?

Oh la la...all your blocks are perfectly done and I especially love the brown background for the first block. It glorifies (? can I say that ?) the others colors !

All the blocks are lovely! The eyelet edge of the basket must have been pretty challenging!

Beautiful applique! I especially like the bright green stripe fabric used in the last photo. BTCT is one project I wish I'd done.

Such beautiful blocks!! I love that stripe basket too, it looks tricky to applique with the loop edge.

I like the stripe basket, too. I recently broke down and bought the BTCT pattern. I started saving it when they first came out but didn't make it past month 3. It is such a fun quilt in my favorite colors, red and green!
