Flowers Quilt Top

I have the "flowers" quilt top together.  I thought it would be easier than it was to sew together.  There are two sizes of half square triangles.  The size does fit the block size without the use of spacers.  Also, it was a bit confusing trying to get the triangle units turned the correct direction.  I was able to pin the top to my design wall for the photos.

Some close up pictures of different sections of the quilt.

Cathy has her top done and you can see it here.  We have selected another pattern to work on so stay tuned for our next quilt project.

Oh Karen! Your quilt is gorgeous! I can imagine all those little half squares being a busy little pain! It's great that you and Cathy work together to keep each other motivated. I look forward to following you on your next quilt journey.

I really like the colors you have used for your HST sashing. It gives the whole piece a very autumnal look. Nice finish!!

This quilt is just delightful, Karen. I so enjoy looking at and admiring the flowers in each block. The morning glories continue to be my favorites. I like the variety of size and shape in the blocks. The pieced sashing does look complicated to make and arrange but the two sizes add lots of interest to the finished quilt.
